oce valorant · ranking snapshot:

jayj’s neon and raze usage leaves little doubt about the job they want: reach the first fight quickly and make defenders answer. their combat score and headshot share give that approach some substance, especially in the january appearance that stands as the brighter point of the two-event run. when the angle is clean, jayj can produce the kind of contact that justifies giving them the entry responsibility. the problem is what follows once that first exchange is over.

weak survival and kill conversion keep the aggression from carrying much further into the round. jayj can force a reaction, but too many of those moments end without a completed advantage or a second life to help secure it. that makes the game easy to read: direct, mechanically capable in flashes, and still short on the repeatable follow-through that turns an entry attempt into map-wide pressure. the speed is useful; the return on it remains limited.
