oce valorant · ranking snapshot:
kyuu’s game is built around making the map uncomfortable for opponents rather than chasing every opening fight. viper gives them a way to divide space, while vyse and killjoy turn the sentinel side into a question of traps, timing, and denying the clean route through. that combination carried them from the monthly txg circuit into rising tides and finally to the fortress qualifier, their most notable stop so far.
there are signs of a player who can finish a chance when it appears, with a useful kill balance and respectable headshot share, but those moments remain too isolated to define the half. weak overall involvement and survival mean the utility rarely becomes lasting control, and the defender’s value can fade before the round is settled. kyuu has a workable foundation in map denial and opportunistic aim; the missing piece is making those separate tools connect often enough to change outcomes.
