tactics has a clear mechanical upside: when their duelist instincts connect, the damage is substantial. jett leads the role share, with clove and omen offering alternate ways to enter or reshape a fight, and that mix gives tactics more than one route to a target. their path runs from the march txg circuit to wave’s rising tides split 2, the high point of this early stretch, before a fortress qualifier followed soon after. there is enough activity here to show a player finding their footing across several formats.

the trouble is conversion. tactics can put serious hurt into a round and still leave behind a weak overall presence, with low retention pulling against the strong combat moments. in other words, the impact arrives in flashes, but it does not reliably survive long enough to control the result. that makes the wave high point a useful marker rather than a final verdict. tactics has the firepower to matter, yet the next stage is learning how to make that damage remain attached to the round after the first clash.
