the difficulty is that the crack does not open often enough. damage and kill production have remained below what the role demands, so the clutch moments read as bright exceptions rather than proof of control. assists add some value around the action, but they cannot replace the missing consistency. bumi’s identity is therefore an appealing contradiction: a player whose late-round nerve can produce a result, while the earlier parts of the round still need to become more reliable.
