oce valorant · ranking snapshot:
fact0r’s game has a useful contradiction at its centre: they can post a respectable kill balance while still leaving too many rounds without a lasting imprint. the duelist and controller split asks them to shift between initiating trouble and shaping the space around it, and that change of pace gives their best moments some personality. neon can turn the round forward in a hurry, while astra and vyse ask for a more deliberate kind of influence. the ingredients are varied, but the connection between them is not always clean.
wave rising tides split 1 introduced the current chapter, and split 2 became the stronger appearance of the pair. fact0r can survive the first collision and come out even or better, which matters in a lower-output game. still, staying alive is not the same as controlling what happens next, and their round involvement can dip below the level their aim hints at. the best version of this game would make those good fights matter beyond the duel itself, pulling teammates into the advantages fact0r has already created.
