oce valorant · ranking snapshot:

kenji works from a controller-sentinel blend, using viper, vyse, and killjoy to divide space and make certain routes costly. that utility framework is clearer than the personal production behind it: weak combat numbers and below-middle involvement show a player who can prepare a contest without consistently becoming its decisive participant. kenji’s map is built through boundaries and threats, but those tools have not yet translated into sustained pressure.

the sharper detail is what happens when the round has already narrowed. kenji’s clutch conversion is better than the rest of the game suggests, giving them a taste for the one remaining opening rather than a broad command of the map. that is a real strength, but a narrow one. at rising tides split 2, kenji’s identity was less about controlling every phase than about recognizing a final chance after the larger exchange had gone restrained. the next gain is turning that judgment into involvement earlier in the round.
