oce valorant · ranking snapshot:

crayon arrived in this set of appearances and immediately made the controller slot look like an excellent place to do damage. the early turbo tuesdays event is the obvious landmark, but the sharper detail is how consistently their fighting translated from the primary controller role. omen may be the listed centre of gravity, with chamber offering a side door into the sentinel world, yet the rounds do not read like someone waiting for permission to matter.

breakwater open and new dawn followed almost at once, giving crayon a compact run in which the impact stayed visible across different opponents and settings. their opening exchanges carry unusual weight for a player expected to manage the middle of the map, and the finishing work is just as convincing when a fight stretches out. crayon’s introduction is therefore pleasantly direct: controller utility is part of the job, but it is not the whole identity. three recent events are enough to establish a player who can make the supposedly safe role look dangerous.
